BODY:
With Solid color:
***Chain 22 – hdc in 3rd ch from hook and each – 5hdc in last ch then working on the opposite side of chain hdc in each – 4hdc in same st as the first hdc – slip stitch to first hdc.
***Chain 7, turn work, slip stitch in  3rd chain from hook; hdc in next 4 chains; slip stitch in same spot as beginning of ch 7 and the next 2hdc.
*** Chain 7, do not turn work, slip stitch in 3rd chain from hook; hdc in next 4 chains; slip stitch in same spot as beginning of ch 7 and next hdc. End off – this is the right side.

WING
With variegated color – attach in 3rd hdc from the last antennae made
Row 1:  Ch1; sc in same st as joining; sc in next 18hdc.
Row 2:  Ch2; turn; dc, ch2, dc in same st as ch2. *Skip 2 sc, 2dc, ch2, 2dc* in next sc; repeat * * to end of row.
Row 3: Ch2; turn; dc, ch2,  dc in ch2 space between dc’s, ch2, 2dc in same space. Dc, ch 2, dc, in next 6 spaces; dc in last dc.
Row 4: Ch2; turn; dc, ch2, 2dc in same st as ch2.  2 dc, ch2, 2 dc in next 7 spaces; dc in last dc.
Row 5:  Ch2; turn; dc, ch2, dc in 7 spaces between the dc; dc in last.
Row 6:  Ch2; turn; dc, ch2, 2dc in same st as ch2.  2dc, ch2, 2dc in next 8 spaces; dc in last dc.
Row 7:  Ch2; turn, dc, ch2, dc in ch2 spaces between dc 8 times; dc in last.
End off.
Turn work – join solid color at last dc made.

With variegated color attach (right side)  at 3rd hdc of bottom body ( counting and including center hdc of 5hdc at tip (bottom).
Row 1:  Ch1, sc in same st as joining and next 18 hdc.
Row 2:  Ch2; turn, dc, ch2 , 2dc in same st as ch2.  *Skip 2 sc, 2dc, ch2, 2dc*  6 times; dc in last sc.
Row 3:  Ch2; turn, dc, ch2, dc in ch2 space between dc’s and next 6 spaces; dc in last dc.
Row 4:  Ch2; turn; dc, ch2, 2dc in same st as ch2.  2dc, ch2, 2dc in each space across row; dc in last dc.
Row 5:  Ch2, turn, dc, ch2, dc in each space across row; dc in last dc.
Row 6:  Ch2; turn, 2dc, ch2, 2dc in same st as ch2.  2dc, ch2, 2dc in each space across row; dc in last dc.
