2026 Osmond Colors Project!

Back in the 1970's The Osmonds were THE group for teens to follow! Each brother (and sister Marie!) had their own fave color.

Alan = Blue
Wayne = Orange
Merrill = Black
Jay = Green
Donny = Purple
Marie = Pink
Jimmy = Red

Just choose your fave Osmond/s or any of the colors you love, and make as many 9" squares as you can!

Please use the pattern below (either crocheted or knitted) so we can make beautiful blankets that will be donated to Mesa Valley Estates Nursing home in Mesquite NV
and Ronald McDonald house of Las Vegas!
'Ministering Angels' of Moapa Valley will sew them together.

Gauge: 4 rows = 2" 3 "V's" = 2"

9" square to crochet for blankets

approx. 70 yards of (#4) WW yarn

Size I (5.5 mm) crochet hook

(Written in US terms)

(Multiples of 2)
Chain 28

Row 1: Double crochet in the 4th chain from your hook. (your initial "chain" now counts as a double crochet).

♥ Skip 1 chain, make 2 double crochets in next chain (makes a "V"), repeat from ♥ across. Chain 3 turn.

(13 V's)

Rows 2-17: Make ONE Dc in middle of the first "V", ♥ skip next stitch, make 2 double crochets in middle of next "V", Repeat from ♥ across. (13 V's) Chain 3 and turn (except for row 17- just end off & weave in ends.)

Make as many as you need for your blanket.

Small Baby blanket: 9 squares 3 x 3 = (27" x 27" )

Toddler blanket: 16 squares 4 x 4 = (36" x 36")

Child's blanket: 20 squares - 4 x 5 (36" x 45")

Older kids blanket: 35 squares 5 x 7 = (45" x 63")

Size 10 (6 mm) Knitting needles
Worsted weight yarn
Gauge: 6 rows = 1" approx. 3.5 sts = 1"

Cast on 30 sts
Knit every row for 9" (56 rows)
Then cast off.

Weave in the ends!
Make more!! Send them to Bev!
