Gauge: 4sts - 1" 4 rows = 1" --- fits 20"-23" head
Abbreviations US Terms: Ch = chain, sc = single crochet

Materials needed:
Size I (5.5 mm) crochet hook, scissors, 50-60 yards of worsted weight yarn, yarn needle.

Ch 13,
Row 1: Sc in each chain across, ch 1, turn
Row 2: Sc in each sc across row. Ch 1 and turn (12 sts)
Rows 3 - 56 (64): Repeat row 2.
End off cutting a 10" yarn tail. (about 16" long and 3.25" wide)
Add more sts and rows to change size
Thread the yarn tail onto a yarn needle, fold headband in half width-wise, and whip stitch the seam shut.
Flip right side out.
