Newborn or Preemie HAT
Beverly A. Qualheim 2000, 2018 - All
hats can be made in any colors you wish for new babies/preemies in your
local hospitals. However, if you need to place to send these little red
hats, please consider making RED HATS for the BIG HEARTS, LITTLE HATS campaign
held by the American Heart Association. Red hats are made and
donated to leaders in each state, and are given to newborns in February
of each year to bring awareness about congenital heart disease in
babies. The hats are made with love by volunteers, and donated
with love to babies in participating hospitals across America. This
project has become one of my favorites since I love to make hats for
babies, and it certainly can be a project that goes on all year, as I
make little hats to deliver each January to our states coordinator.
