Humanitarian Booth Needs
If you would like to help make items for the Humanitarian Booth at the Clark County, NV Fair we could use the following in any color, using any pattern you'd like: * Hats (all sizes) * Mittens
for kids * Scarves for women and teens * Slippers for seniors * Baby (and preemie sized) hats, booties, sweaters, onesies, blankets, baby washcloths, pacifiers, paper diapers, lotion-anything for new babies. These will go to Volunteer Angels after the fair. * Teddy bears, dolls, puppets * 6" granny squares for our special project this year.Bev will be teaching visitors how to sew granny squares into 36" x 48" lapghans for nursing homes! Each lapghan takes 48 squares to complete, but please feel free to send even 1 or 2 squares in an envelope, as all will make into lovely lapghans! Whatever you have time to make will be greatly appreciated. Granny squares should be made from worsted weight yarn, any pattern - with flowers, solid, regular, in any colors you choose, and measure as close to 6" as possible. PLEASE weave in all yarn tails before sending! Thanks Mail before April 1, 2011 to: Bev Qualheim, (Fair booth) PO Box 427, Logandale, NV 89021-0427 All items are donated to Humanitarian
causes after the fair. Nothing will be sold!
