START:
Chain 4, join with a
slip stitch to your 1st chain to form a ring.
Round 1: Chain 3, make 2 double crochet inside ring, * (Chain 2, make 3 double crochet in ring); repeat from * 2 times more, chain 2, slip st in top of beginning chain 3. Slip st in the next 2 double crochets to the corner.
Round 2:
Chain 3, (2 double
crochet, Chain 2, 3 double crochet) in same space/corner – *(3
double crochet, Chain 2, 3 double crochet in next corner); repeat from
* 2 more times, join with slip stitch to top of
beg - Chain 3.
Slip stitch in the tops of the stitches to the next corner. Join in the tops of the 1st double crochet.
Round 3:
Chain 3, (2 double
crochet, Chain 2, 3 double crochet) in same space/corner, 3 double
crochet in the space/hole between corners, go tp next corner and make
another corner with 3 double crochet, ch 2, 3 double crochet.
Round 4: Chain 3, (2 double crochet, chain 2, 3 double crochet)
HINTS: Always chain 2 to form the corners, and always chain 1 to form a ‘bridge’ between your groups of 3 double crochet.
