Size 8 (5.00 mm) knitting needle Soft Cotton yarn (ie: I Love This Cotton by Hobby Lobby)

Cast on 25 stitches (30 for adult cloth)
Rows 1-44 (54): Knit each row.
Cast off. Leaving a 4" tail of yarn.

Weave your starting tail and this one, in and out of the 'back'. In other words, just weave the tails in both on the same side. :) You should end up with an approximately 6.25" square. Put one or 2 in newborn kits for hospitals, along with a hat, booties, bar of soap etc.
