Homespun yarn (7 oz yarn - 6 oz of main color, 1 oz of contrast)
170 (makes it almost 6' long)
1: Dc in 4th ch

2-7: Dc in dc next to hook and in every dc across. Ch 3,

Ch 17 loosely
Row 1: Sc in second
ch from hook, dc in next ch. Continue the pattern, alternating
sc and dc until you reach the end of the row. (end of the row is a DC) Ch 1 and turn.
Row 2: Sc in first
dc, dc in next sc. Continue the pattern, alternating between sc and dc
you reach the end of the row. Ch 1 and turn.
