Bev's Garter Stitch Scarf-- www.bevscountrycottage.comCopyright
2017 Beverly A. Qualheim - All Right Reserved. You may make
these to sell, but please make some for charity too.
This is a
super easy knitted scarf that is very fashionable and warm! By
casting on more stitches you can make it wider, and knitting more rows,
you can make it longer.
MATERIALS:
Basic scarf use Size 10 (6 mm) knitting needles
(But
you can also use larger or smaller needles, 2 strands of yarn and so
on) The grey scarf uses 1 strand and size 9 needles and is 5" wide.
The mint one has a strand of worsted weight 'mint' plus a strand
of white baby yarn held together and is 6.5" wide.)
Worsted weight #4 yarn or wool
Cast on 18 sts.
Knit every row until scarf is 5' long. (For kids make them a bit shorter)
Bind off each stitch and cut yarn. Weave in ends.
That's it, really. ♥
