Size F crochet hook
Ch 6
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch
from hook
(in back loops only) and in each ch across, ch 1 and turn (5 scs total)
Row 2: sc in each sc
across
row (BLO), ch 1 and turn.
Rows 3 - repeat
row
2 till desired length. End off.
(You can even add a
small
fringe if desired)
Make one for the male fashion doll also by starting with a ch 7, so it is slightly wider.

Row
1: sc in 2nd ch from hook (in back loops only) and in each ch
across,
ch 1 and turn (13 scs total)
Row 2: sc in each sc
across
row (BLO), ch 1 and turn.
Rows 3 - 17
repeat row
2 for 17 rows total or until desired length (approx. 4.5"
depending
on how much hair you need to cover!) End off leaving a 10" tail to sew
side seam and gather top.
Finishing: Sew up side seam with a whip stitch, then run the needle and yarn through and around the top of the hat. Pull tightly to gather. Add a small pom pom is desired. Roll up brim of hat to fit.
This size should fit the male fashion doll also as it will stretch.

4- desired length- about 10"
repeat
rows 2 and 3.
After
last desired row, take a contrasting color and sc around entire
blanket,
make 3 sc in each corner st.
