OLD FASHIONED TOBOGGAN CAP
Keep those little heads warm!

Sizes 1-2-3 (Toddlers)
1 pr. size 9 knitting needles
6 oz of 4 ply worsted weight yarn. (4 oz. white, 2 oz. red)

Cast on 80 sts. (2 & 3 years old, 88 sts.)
Work in ribbing of k1, p1 for 16 rows as follows:
*2 rows white; 2 rows red;
repeat from * 3 times.
K1 row, P1 row, then K1 row decreasing to 72 sts (2 & 3 year old, 80 sts) at even intervals across row.
Work even in stockinette st for 7 rows.
Now, every 8th row,  decrease 8 sts across that row until just 16 sts remain.
K2 together across row.
Draw remaining sts. together. Sew seam. Add a tassel if desired!
