This hat was inspired by a pattern found at
God's Tiny Angels
This Sunhat can be made in one color, or three or more colors. Try different combinations.

Materials:
Knitting Worsted Yarn
J Hook

Row 1: Chain 4, and make 15 DC's in bottom chain.

Row 2. Work 2 DC's in each stitch around.

Row 3: Work 1 Long Double Crochet in first stitch (yarn over, insert hook in stitch, one row below and complete DC) work a DC in next 2 stitches, work LDC and then 2 DC's, all the way around.

Row 4: DC in each of next two stitches, then a long double crochet,then DC in next two stitches, continue around

Rows 5-7- Work 3 rows of DC

Row 8- Work 3 DC in next stitch, then DC in next 2 stitches, repeat around.

Row 7- SC in each stitch.

End Off, hide ends, and enjoy!

You can change colors at beginning of any of the rows. Contrasting colors look best for the Long Double Crochets.

This pattern can be made larger by using more DC in the first row.
