off. (or if using one color, sl st to the next ch 3 space).

2: Join color B in any ch-3 sp; ch 3, in same sp work (2 dc, ch 3,
3 dc): corner made; * ch 1, sk next 3 dc, in next ch-3 sp work (3 dc,
ch
3, 3 dc): corner made; rep from * twice more; ch 1, sk next 3 dc; join
in 3rd ch of beg ch-3: finish off.

3: Join color C in any ch-3 corner sp: ch 3, in same sp work (2 dc,
ch 3, 3 dc): corner made; * ch 1, sk next 3 dc, 3 dc in next ch-l sp:

finish off. (You can also do the last Rnd with DC in each sts
around,
keeping the corners the same as previous round.)
Make
4 more squares this size or smaller (by leaving off rnd 5) to make
smaller
hats.
Now
whip stitch the squares together in the following pattern You can
even add a pretty border:
For brim border: Join yarn in any dc at back of hat. Ch 2 (Counts as a hdc), hdc in same st. Work 2 hdc in each dc and in each space between dc's. Join, and cut yarn end with a 3" piece of yarn.
You can also do 2 or 3 rows of single crochet around.
Weave
in ends. Now you will have your groovy, warm hat!
