Bev's In-Edible,but Very pretty EASTER EGGS!

Materials: Crochet hook size H
Scraps of thin worsted 4 ply yarn like Lion Brand's 'Pound of Love',
Lion Brand Pound of Love 16 oz
small amount of fiberfil
This pattern is crocheted in the round.

Start: Ch 2, then 4 sc in 2nd ch from hook
Rnd 1: 2 sc in each sc around to total 8
Rnd 2: *1 sc in first sc and 2 sc in next sc, repeat  from*  (12 sts)
Rnd 3: * 1 sc in each of the next 2 sc then 2 sc in next sc, repeat from  *  around. (16 sts)
Rnd 4: * 1 sc in each of the next 3 sc then 2 sc in next sc, repeat from * around. (20 sts)
Rnd 5: * 1 sc in each of the next 4 sc then 2 sc in the next sc, repeat from * around. (24 sts)
Rnd 6: sc in each sc around to total 24
Rnd 7-8: chain 1 and repeat rnd 6 (24 sts)
Rnd 9-10: *sc in first 2 sc then sc 2 sc tog*  repeat from * around,  to start decrease for top of egg. (add a little stuffing inside the egg now- then continue to crochet around above it)
Rnd 11: *sc in first sc then sc 2 sc tog* and repeat from *  around
Rnd 12: sc 2 sc tog around
Tie off and weave ends through with yarn needle to secure.
