    (Creators note:   Since I never worry about size, I just use different yarn weights and needle sizes as the whim strikes.  I would recommend using a sport weight yarn with size 8 needles for the first one.  Since the requirement is to make one for charity, this one can give you an idea of what size will be created with your personal technique.)

    Cast on 34 stitches  (increase (decrease) by 4 for each increase (decrease) in size desired

    Rows 1 & 2  K
    Row 3   K3,*P2 tog, YO,* P2 tog, K3
    Row 4  K
    Row 5  K3, *P* , K3
    Row 6  K3, * Inc. 1, K1*, Inc. 1, K3
    Rows 7 - 9  St st with K3 border
    Row 10  K3, *Inc. 1, K2*, K3
    Rows 11 -13  St st with K3 border
    Row 14  K3, *Inc. 1, K 3*, Inc. 1, K3
    Rows 15 - 17  St st with K3 border
    Row 18  K3, *Inc. 1, K4*, Inc. 1, K3
    Rows 19-21 St st with K3 border
    Row 22  Divide sts by 6, place markers between each section except half way  (1/6 M 1/6 M 1/3 M 1/6 M 1/6)
    and K across, with an Inc. on each side of markers
    Row 23  K3, * P *, K3
    Row 24  K across with Inc. on each side of markers
    Row 25  K3, * P *, K3
    Row 26 K across with Inc. on each side of markers
    Row 27  K3, *P *, K3 & place 2nd and 4th section on holders (sleeves)

    Sleeve - work first before finishing body

    Rows 1 - 25  work in St st
    Row 26  K2 tog,*P1 , K1 , P1 , K2 tog*
    Rows 27 - 30  work in K1, P1 Rib & bind off.  Sew underarm seams and weave yarn ends in
