    Cancer Caps for Kids-Crocheted 2

    Here is a 2nd page of free crochet chemo caps to make for kids.
    Bev's Beanie with Ears
    Fits 2 -3 year old (but add a few more sts and rows for older kids)
    Size G hook
    2 oz sport yarn
    Ch 50
    Rows 1-54: Sc in 2nd ch from the hook and in each st across.  Make sure you go right to the end each time, and ch1. Turn

    On the last row, simply finsh off.
    You will have a rectangle.  Fold it in half to form the hat.  Whip st the sides shut.  Flip right side out.
    Now make the 'ears' by running some sts about 1 1/2" down from the top of the hat corner. Use a running st diagonally to about 1 1/2" from ear into hat.  Pull gently to gather.  Make 3 anchoring sts to hold it.

    Rnd 6-9:  Work dc in ea st around, join.
    Rnd 10-16: Work sc in ea st around, join.
    Rnd 17:  Work (sc, ch2) in ea st around, join.
    Fasten off.
