Gauge using size J hook and worsted weight yarn
2 pattern rows and 1 sc row = 1 inch
4 sts = 1 inch

3.5 oz. red or green worsted yarn
1.5 oz. white worsted yarn

Make 2, reverse directions for 2nd half

Top:
Hold
both halfs together with wrong sides together. Attach white yarn to
corner through back loops of both halves and sc around entire stocking
to other corner, sc around top , do not join, do not turn...work in
rounds around top
sc in next st,
dc in next st around until you have 5 inches of white. Fasten off and
fold over stocking.
Hanger:
ch 21, sc in
back ridge of 2nd ch from hook and rem chs.
