How to make a TWISTED fringe
twisted fringe

This is a rather interesting twisty fringe you can add to blankets, or shawls, maybe a scarf or two?

1) Cut a piece of yarn about 24" long.
2) Fold it in half
3) Put your finger through the loop it forms when you hold it in half.
4) Take the other ends and TWIST like crazy. I usually twist it by holding the ends tightly and twisting my finger, not the ends.
5) the yarn will start to 'curl and twist'... that's fine. Just pull it taut when you feel it is twisted enough.
6) I then tie a knot at the ends - not sure if you HAVE to do that, but I do.
7) Now you can attach it with a half hitch.
