Help People at The Preble Street Resource Center

Preble Street Resource Center They like to give out hats, mittens, scarves and socks (as well as toiletries donated by local hotels and businesses) to of people during the year, especially in the cold winter, months.

If you can knit, crochet, or sew a pair of mittens, a warm scarf, a toasty hat, or a pair of socks, so many people will be happy and warmed both body and soul.  It only takes an hour or so to make a pair of Bev's Marvelous Mitts or perhaps a Bev's warm adult hat!  In fact, if you can't craft at all but still want to help, I know they will accept store bought items too.  They are in need of blue jeans, all sizes for men, women, teens, backpacks, and sneakers for all sizes too.
