Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
2 TBsp cream of tartar
2 cups of water
1 TBsp vegetable oil
food coloring
Mix all ingredients in a saucepan. (If I
want more than one color, I wait to add the color until the dough is
cooked
and ready to knead, then I split up the dough and add the colors.) Cook
over medium heat, stir often and watch as it makes a big globby mess in
the pan! It will eventually form a ball of dough in the pan and at this
point it is done. Remove from pan, cool for a few minutes and knead on
a floured board.
Store in large ziplock bag or
airtight container.
