"I find immeasurable solace in the cold morning air, as I walk my dog, and I thank my Heavenly Father for the great joy I feel in this life. In spite of my weaknesses, and my struggling through trials, I can see His image in the immense earthly treasures around me. What comfort this is to my spirit. There are days when my heart is full. I can scarcely soak in all of the beauty that surrounds me here, in this desert. And I am reminded once again that even though our lives may seem like deserts some days, barren, sparce, harsh; we are never far from that God who made us, and who rejoices in His children as they find joy in the simple things of life."
