UPDATE: November 2007:

Instead, please send handmade items to either LDS Humanitarian- info here:

or to one of the places listed here

And thanks to the many friends of Bev's Country Cottage who have sent handmade items for Crafting Angels in the past few years.  HUGS!!!!

Love to all of you from some of the Crafting Angels back in 2003

March 2007
This was our Teddy Bears Picnic and we stuffed 51 bears for LDS Humanitarian

February 2007
We put together 150 newborn kits for UMC in Vegas.
Each was filled with a 32" blanket, bib or burp cloth, hat, booties, bar of gentle soap, washcloth, 4 paper diapers, onesie etc.

assembly line newborn kits

We compile these newborn kits every couple of months, and are always in need of handmade items for them.  Crocheted, knitted or loom knitted hats and booties are in great demand, plus blankets.  We really like to include at least those items in each kit.

CHRISTMAS IN July 2006  Crafting Angels Style!
Crafing angels July 2006

Here we are meeting at the LDS Stake Center in Logandale, NV - we did Christmas in July for July - see the lights on the board?!  This photo was taken after many ladies had already left the meeting, but there were still a lot of hard working souls who stayed after the potluck lunch to help tie quilts, loom hats, and color pages for the ABC books.

January 2006

A brand new year for Crafting Angels and we are now meeting in the Relief Society room in the Stake Center.  Seems an appropriate room to meet. We are now working towards a goal of making 2006 items for humanitarian purposes, with our Stake. We have a good start, although there is much work to be done yet.
