Baked Cranberry Cake
2 Tbsp butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups sifted cake flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 c. milk
2 cups, whole, raw cranberries
Cream butter and sugar; add vanilla and blend.  Sift dry ingreds. and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.  Fold in cranberries and pour into greased and floured 9" square pan. Bake at 400 f for 35 mins. or till done.  Cut into squares and serve with hot butter sauce.  (Serve cake warm)

Hot Butter sauce
1/2 c butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 c. light cream
melt butter, add sugar, then cream.  Simmer 5 mins, stirring occasionally.  Serves 9!
